About Us
Traditional black and white photo arts and a cooperative college education in photojournalism are the foremost elements of orientation for Moses Nadel. Years of soul-searching materialized with a sewing machine and adventure inspired carry-alls. As one half of the team, Moses is hands-on and manages production, technical fabrication and the machinery side of the business.
Motivated by the creative, fine and stylistic arts, Lara Nadel came to a pivotal point in her learning journey at RISD. Following the transition into life and work for two decades in NYC with a self-produced jewelry company, her experiences were elemental for a well-rounded set of skills fundamental to master the jack-of-all-trades aspects of business. As the other half of the team, Lara handles brand development, creative direction and the intricacies of technical construction.
The move from New York City to the cliffs of coastal Long Island offered a new perspective. Both Moses and Lara share in dreaming, creating and designing. The unity of these experiences and learned skills are what we expressively bring to the table. We have an original way of making and interpreting concepts to create products. The act of making is the adventure. This collaboration and common language is a reflection of the ethos that has inspired the story that is Moses Nadel.
