How are your products measured?
Because of the organic nature in both shape and material, we do not offer an exact measurement. Leather, shearling and foam settle when used. We address sizing using an accommodated average or measurement from seam to seam. Since our products are handmade we do allow for a tolerance for sizing which we approve per each item. In the case your item requires an exact measurement, please be sure to contact us directly.
Ottomans are measured to an ‘active’ seat height.
Tapestry measurements include the hanging fixtures in their length. We advise tapestries lay flat prior to installation to return to their shape.
How do I care for my product?
Our products are made of organic materials so they are subject to natural variances. Changes in the color or texture of leather and signs of wear are expected. Small scratches, or blemishes found within the product are naturally occurring. Variations in the consistency of color and texture should be considered The inherent beauty and unique qualities of the leather. Dye lots may differ slightly from order to order. Leather goods should be brought to a professional leather cleaner. Spot cleaning is not recommended. Products should be kept away from direct sunlight And UV Rays for long periods of time As it may cause discoloration and Avoid storing in humid areas. Household cleaners/sprays may cause staining and should be avoided. On each product page of our website we offer downloadable care instructions. We also send a paper card with material care with every order. How do I install my new product?

We do not offer in-house installation or storage services. We work with a variety of specialists and will provide a referral or make the arrangements for you Per your request.
Where are Moses Nadel products made?
A majority of our products are made Bespoke at our Long Island studio. We source our materials and components locally and domestically whenever possible.
Do you customize your products?
Yes. we produce the majority of our products in-house and customized to fit your needs. In general, we offer a range of materials, finishes and sizing. Most leather and material options in our material library are available for the same price unless noted otherwise on each product page. COM or items that require re-patterning or specialty customizations may incur a price increase of 20–35% depending on the specifications and may add additional time to the listed lead estimations. Do you offer custom work or design services?

Do you work with decorators, interior designers and architects?
Yes, we do offer a trade program. If you are of the trade, please enter your business information using the link at the bottom of the website or use this link go directly to the trade application.
Do you offer restoration work?
On a project by project basis. If we choose too take on a restorative project we will adapt our manner of working to fit the Project.
Can I see an item in person?
Many of our items can be found at select showrooms or retailers domestically and internationally. Please contact us for specific requests and we'll be happy to direct you to the nearest stockist.
Do you carry stock or is everything made-to-order?
Most of our products are made-to-order. We occasionally stock materials for certain items, but we rarely keep stock of finished pieces or custom finishes. clients Lead times for each item can be found on its product page.
Why can’t I add an item to my cart?
For items that are not available to add to your cart, we ask that you use the link provided on each product page to Request a quote and we'll be happy to discuss all the options with you to make sure your piece is produced to your specifications.
Can I request an order be rushed?
If the listed lead time doesn't work for your schedule, please contact us before placing an order to discuss timing. We are happy to accommodate requests when we can, and while it is possible to speed up production on a case-by-case basis, this typically requires a rush fee based on the materials required and the timeframe.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries around the world from our studio in Long Island. If you live outside the United States and are interested in seeing a product in person before you purchase, please contact us for stockist information. International shipments are sent via FedEx International unless otherwise discussed. You can find more information on our Shipping + Returns page.
Do you charge sales tax?
All orders require sales tax if the order is to be delivered within New York State. Tax will be applied to the product and shipping charges. For customers outside of New York State and for our trade partners with a valid resale certificate, sales tax will not be charged.
